Chin, Principal <br />LPN Architects & Planners <br />1535 4th Avenue S, Suite D <br />Seattle, WA 98134 <br />Subject: Letter by LPN, dated January 9, 1998 <br />Restroom Requirements <br />Tramco Warehouse Tenant Improvement <br />Everett Industrial Center, Everett, WA <br />LPN Job No. 98002 <br />Dear Mr. Chin: <br />In regards to the above mentioned letter, UBC Section 2902.3 (as amended by the State of <br />Washington) states that buildings or portions thereof housing a Group S Occupancy where <br />persons are employed shall be provided with at least one water closet. Separate facilities shall <br />be provided for each sex when ihe number of employees exceeds four. Such toilet facilities <br />shall be located in such building or conveniently in a buildi ig adjacent thereto on the same <br />property. <br />The proposed size of the warehouse space is 9,200 square feet. The occupant load, based on <br />Table 29-A, would then be 1.8 - reo firing only one toilet facility to be made available. <br />In order for this building to meet the requirements of Section 2902.3, your proposal is to not <br />provide facilities within your building, but to negotiate an agreement of shared facilities with a <br />tenant on the same property. This agreement would be acceptable provided the following <br />conditions are accomplished: <br />1. The agreement would be required to be submitted to the City of Everett, for review, prior <br />to the issuance of the Certificate of Occupancy. <br />2.
