STRUCTURAL MASONRY: During preparation of masonry wall prisms, <br />sampling and placing of all masonry snits, placement of reinforce- <br />ment, inspection of grout space, immediately prior to closing of <br />cleanouts and during all grouting operations. Where the f'm is <br />less than 2600 psi and special insoection stresses are used, test <br />specimens may consist of either one prism for each 5000 square <br />feet of wall area or a series of tests based on both grout and <br />mortar for the first three consecutive days and each third day <br />thereafter. <br />7. REINFORCED GYPSU`! CONCRETE: When cast -in -place Class "8" gypsum <br />concrete is being mixed or placed. <br />8. INSULATING CONCRETE FILL: During the application of insulating <br />concrete fill when used as part of a structural system. <br />r7 9. SPRAYED -ON FIREPROOFING: As required by Uniform Building Code <br />Standard No. 43-8. <br />10. SPECIAL GRADING, EXCAVATION AND FILLING: During earthwork, excava- <br />tions, grading and filling operations to satisfy the requirements <br />of Chapters 29 and 70 (Appendix) of the Uniform Building Code. <br />12. SPECIAL CASES: <br />All inspection reports musk be filed promptly with the Building Department as <br />the work progresses and at the completion of the project, Upon completion of <br />the special inspections a letter or other certification shall be filed with <br />the City of Everett Building Department listing each type of inspection and <br />stating that the special inspections required were completed in accordance <br />with the Uniform Building Code, 4-97-9 Edition. <br />19ef <br />Confirmation of the authority to provide special inspections should be <br />obtained from the owner or his/her authorized agent. <br />Very truly yours, <br />L.
