The Water <br />Department will Install the tapping cross at that location. <br />2. Your plans will have to be revised to reflect new locations for <br />the water lines detector vaults and water meters affected. <br />3. Your plans must detall a detector check vault on the cast side <br />oI the street that will support truc+ traffic as the new location <br />will fall In the driveway area. <br />4. The trench cr ,ssings in the street area shall be saw -cut; jack <br />hammering Is not acceptable. <br />5. If possible, curb and gutter should be tunneled. If It must be <br />removed, th 1 minimum length acceptable shall be 10 feet. <br />6. Trench backflll shall be as follows: <br />a. coarse sand bedding with sand backflll to 6" over the pipes <br />b. the remainder Is to be backfilled with crushed surfacing <br />top coarse, compacted to 95+% of maximum density <br />c. the asphalt concrete patch is to be 1" thicker than was <br />removed and finished to a level line across the trench area <br />If you have any questions regarding these conditions, please contact Dennis <br />Gabelman at 259-8811. <br />Sincerely, <br />ALFRED R.
