MmMm <br />JUH 2 W <br />CITY OF EVERETT <br />W WMm '} d <br />Horton Dennis & Associates, Inc. <br />Consult ,g Engineers <br />May 27, 1982 <br />Mr. Dan Olson MAY 2 8 1982 <br />THE KOLL COMPANY THE K01I CG. <br />2021 - 152nd Avenue N.E. <br />Redmond, Washington 98052 <br />SUBJECT: O'DONNELL BRIGHAM 8 PARTNERS/N.W. <br />PAINE FIELD INDUSTRIAL CENTER <br />Dear Dan: <br />Reference is made to my letter of May 19, 1982, The reason for <br />deleting the two (2) catch basins, are as follows: <br />Building 8 - the Type IV CB/solid lid was intended to serve as a <br />junction box to allow the outfall pipe from the storm system to be laid <br />with a minimum of structural excavation in the fill prism; the deletion <br />of the structure will not affect the operation of the system. <br />Building 12 - the Type IV inlet was designed to intercept the run- <br />off from the access road and tightline it to a nearby existing catch <br />basin in 75th Street. However, a plethora of underground utilities will <br />make this installation difficult. within approximately twenty feet of Since there is an existing catch basin <br />the inlet location and since storm runoff will flow through the driveway approach to the existing gutter and <br />no drainage problems. <br />to the existing catch basin; deletion of the Type IV inlet should produce <br />Were the existing CB not so close to the point of discharge and <br />were there not utilities in place to conflict with cunstruction, we <br />would recommend installation of the inlet.
