SP. <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 3917 <br /> A RESOLUTION establishing parking time limits on certain downtown streets. <br /> WHEREAS, EMC 46.08.050 grants City Council the authority to establish parking <br /> restrictions; and <br /> WHEREAS, requests have been received for a less restrictive time limit on some <br /> streets in and near the central business district with very low daytime parking usage; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, traffic engineering staff has studied the affected streets and found <br /> extremely low daytime usage; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Transportation Advisory Committee has reviewed the request and <br /> recommends that the less restrictive parking time limit be authorized; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF EVERETT that the following be established: <br /> Four (4) hour parking on California Street, from Rucker to Grand, <br /> both sides; Two (2) hour parking on Wall Street, from Broadway to <br /> Lombard, north side; Two (2) hour parking on Wall Street, from <br /> Lombard to Oakes, north side; Two (2) hour parking on Lombard, <br /> from Hewitt to Wall, both sides; Two (2) hour parking on 26th <br /> Street, from Rockefeller to Wetmore, south side; Two (2) hour <br /> parking on 26th Street, from Wetmore to the alley east of Wetmore, <br /> north side; <br /> and that the City Traffic Engineer shall order and install such signs, markings and <br /> devices as are necessary to affect this change. <br /> /6-70"-: <br /> ..,____„ ‹,- „,.,,,,, 4.,,,,,..,,,, <br /> Councilperson Introducing Resolution <br /> Passed And Approved this 2nd day of March , 19 94. <br /> Council President <br /> jcl/TACRES.doc(2) <br />
