• EVE/FETT RESOLUTION NO. 3854 A RESOLUTION approving adjustment of the boundaries of the City of Everett to exclude the remaining portion of a parcel of land owned by Snohomish County pursuant to RCW 35. 13 . 340. WHEREAS, on October 15, 1982 , the City of Everett adopted Ordinance No. 892-82 which provided for the annexation of certain real property by the City of Everett; and WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 892-92 inadvertently included a portion of a parcel of land owned by Snohomish County and administered by the Snohomish County Airport with the result that the parcel of land owned by Snohomish County and administered by the Snohomish County Airport is located partially within the city of Everett and partially within the unincorporated area of Snohomish County; and WHEREAS, the portion of the parcel of land owned by Snohomish County and administered by the Snohomish County Airport included in Ordinance No. 892-92 is legally described as follows: That portion of the SW 1/4 of Section 14 , Township 28 North, Range 4 East, W.M. described as follows: The North 69 . 10 feet of the East 1/2 of the East 1/2 of the South 1/2 of the West 1/2 of the Southeast 1/4 of the Southwest 1/4; and WHEREAS, RCW 35. 13 . 340 provides for adjustment of the boundaries of a city to exclude the remaining portion of a parcel of land located partially within and partially without the boundaries of that city upon the governing body of the city adopting a resolution approving such an adjustment as requested in a petition signed by the owner of the parcel; and WHEREAS, Snohomish County, the owner of the above-described remaining portion of a parcel of land, petitioned the City of Everett pursuant to RCW 35. 13 . 340 to adjust the boundaries of the City of Everett to exclude that portion from the City of Everett,
