#1111/P <br /> CITY OF EVERETT EVERETT <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 3850 <br /> A RESOLUTION for waiving the public bidding requirements and for the sole source purchase <br /> from Select Ticketing Systems, Inc., for a complete computer network ticketing system <br /> (software) for the Everett Community Theater. <br /> WHEREAS, the Everett Community Theater has a need for a ticketing system with specific and <br /> unique requirements which only one company has developed for purchase; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Everett Community Theater has evaluated the equipment and software needs of <br /> the ticketing operation and made the judgment as to compatibility between the specific <br /> software and hardware needed; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Everett Community Theater has identified that Select Ticketing Systems, Inc., <br /> developer/manufacturer as the sole source for the type of software which will best serve the <br /> City's needs; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Everett Community Theater has prepared a memorandum outlining the reasons <br /> why Select Ticketing Systems, Inc., software is unique in terms of meeting the Everett <br /> Community Theater's special needs in a ticketing system. Said memorandum is attached <br /> hereto and incorporated by this reference. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EVERETT <br /> pursuant to the attached memorandum the City hereby finds that the purchase of a Select <br /> Ticketing System, Inc., complete network computer system for the City's Everett Community <br /> Theater is legitimately limited to a single manufacturer, waives the requirement of calling for <br /> public bids for the acquisition of the subject ticketing computer system. Pursuant to RCW <br /> 35.23.352(9), the City hereby waives the requirement of calling for public bids for the <br /> acquisition of the subject ticketing computer system. The City further finds the purchase is <br /> clearly and legitimately limited to a single source of supply and that the ticketing computer <br /> system is subject to special market conditions.
