♦Y <br /> Total (Social & Non-Social Services) $851,958.00 <br /> Budget Sources <br /> 1993 Entitlement: $848,000.00 <br /> 1991 unexpended funds: $3,158.00 <br /> Total $851,158.00 <br /> II. If the Department of Housing and Urban Development reduces this allocation, then each item <br /> will be reduced an apportionate amount. If a reduction is large enough to cause a burden, as <br /> determined by the staff, then a new budget will be returned to the City Council. <br /> III. The Mayor is hereby authorized to make formal application to the U.S. Department of Housing <br /> and Urban Development for funding assistance in accordance with this Resolution. <br /> IV. The City Council recognizes the Mayor's willingness to provide $100,000.00 in funds to be used <br /> on Neighborhood Improvements in the Lowell Neighborhood. <br /> V. Any funding assistance so received in 1993 be used for the above projects. <br /> VI. This Resolution will become part of the formal application to the U.S. Department of Housing <br /> and Urban Development. <br /> VII. All payments and income from the Housing Rehabilitation Program will be used for rehabilitation <br /> purposes and will not be considered as a part of the public service limit in the future. This is <br /> estimated at$200,000.00 for 1993. <br /> VIII. The Housing Hope funding will be a loan with details of terms and conditions to be returned to <br /> City Council in a contract. The intent is to start a fund for housing construction programs in the <br /> future. <br /> IX. The Cocoon Complex funding will be a loan with details of terms and conditions to be returned <br /> to City Council in a contract. The intent is to start a fund for housing construction programs in <br /> the future. <br /> X. The Salvation Army funding will be a loan with details of terms and conditions to be returned to <br /> City Council in a contract. The intent is to start a fund for housing construction programs in the <br /> future. <br /> Xl.
