February 41 1965
Mr Bill Maples
Remax 'Electric
10326 Bothell ;ray
Seattle, •1lashington
Dear Sir:
An electrical inspection was made at 309 - 77111h P1 SI'y Everett,
Washington, as you requested. There_Ar"rrRTfbRH`tO'-be made
and I told the builder, Urarrol Robinett, not to seal or cover
the wiring until you had the sorrections made. He told me not to
Call you, that he would let you know so you could see me at the
office. To date, we have not heard from you.
The electrical print we sign for approval was not on th+ job but
I do not believe we gave Approval for a 103-amp service in a house
of this size. The City of Everett does not accept anything but an
all lead flashing. The neutral must be insulated. The practice
of putting more than one wire under a single staple is not acceptable.
The code does not permit mo-e than four receptacles on a utility
circuit. The taped joints on splices do not meet the requirements
of Section 110-14 of the National Electric Code. The City code
does not permit more than eight outlets per circuit. I counted more.
There are several places where the bjx fill on allowable number of
wires (Sec 370-6(a-1) has been violated. The code requires supports
at not more than 41 rest on non-metallic cables. Each cable run
from the outlet up through the top plate requires one more staple.
Lighting circuits cannot be conner.ted to 220 volt tie breaker.
Please call us when the above corrections have been made.
Yours truly
L. J. Dougherty
Electrical Inspector
LJD:rm /' 0 U
