Washington <br /> Dear Mr. Bvidden: <br /> This letter se ves as confirmation that stnrctural till was placed in accordance standard engineering practice in <br /> Lot Numbers 10 through 13, at the west arca of the referenced project. <br /> As recommended in my letter report dated September 19, 1995 (a cope of which is anached): <br /> • the topsoil and other organic laden sods were stripped from the areas to receive fill; <br /> • on-site soils, suitable for use as structural fill, were placed in loose, horizontal lifts of 8 to 10 inches: <br /> • the till was keyed into the native soils; <br /> • the fill was thoroughly compacted using a vibratory smooth drum roller; and <br /> • test results confirmed that the fill had been placed to at least 95 percent of the modified Proctor dry <br /> density (ASTM: D 1557). <br /> Please feel free to call i you have any additional questions. <br /> Sincerely, <br /> Land Technologies, Inc. <br /> Peter R.
