Broadway
Everett, WA 98204
RE: Short Plat of Moon-Ridge W.O. 1202-23-79 a concurrent application for
Permits to use public righ f-way.
Dear Ray:
To confirm our brief, but frank, discussion today, your permit applications to
construct homes on the lots of Moon-Ridge Short Plat were submitted prematurely
and have been withheld until receipt and approval of revised drainage plans. The
review process of the revised plans should take ten (10) working days or less
(after receipt).
As you are well aware, on July I Ith, you appealed to us because your financing
for the Moon-Ridge Short Plat project would be lost if the Short Plat could not
be signed right that Instant. On a misplaced measure of trust a signed short plat
was given In exchange for your acknowledgement and handshake that the signature
would be used to acquire your loan and that revised drainage plans would be submitted
and approved prior to the Short Plat being accepted. We are concerned with the
apparent indifference or la& of effort to uphold this agreement and are anxious
to correct any misunderstandings that have allowed it to occur.
We will be forwarding to you a "hot-off-the-press" developers "Guides and Procedures
Manual" within a few days. This document will assist you In futur pro)rcts you
may have in the City of Everett. The guide dearly outlines what tiroc frames
you can expect from the City on complete and proper applications.
