48. Refuse dumpsters over 1.5 cubic yards capacity shall be located a minimum of 5 <br /> feet from the building (UFC 1103.2.2, 1994 Edition). <br /> 49. The Washington State Clean Air Act requires the use of all known, available, and <br /> reasonable means of controlling air pollution, including dust. Dust generated <br /> during construction activities can be controlled by wetting those dust sources <br /> such as areas of exposed soils, washing truck wheels before they leave the site, <br /> and installing and maintaining gravel construction entrances. Construction <br /> vehicle track-out is also a major dust source. Any evidence of track-out can <br /> trigger violations and fines from the Department of Ecology or the Puget Sound <br /> Air Pollution Control Agency. <br /> GENERAL INFORMATION <br /> 1.
