Access - The Uniform Fire Code requires that all new structures shall provide Fire Department <br /> access roads to within 150 feet of all portions of the ground floor. Fire Department access <br /> roads (Fire Lanes) shall provide a minimum of 20 feet in width of unobstructed, all-season <br /> driving surface with a minimum clear height of 13'6". Fire Lanes will be posted and <br /> maintained as required by the Fire Department. <br /> 2. Access - O.K. as shown on the site plan reviewed. <br /> 3. Fire lanes shall be provided as required in Everett Municipal Code 46.44. Fire lanes shall be <br /> identified by red curbs with white stenciling stating "NO PARKING - FIRE LANE" and <br /> vertical signs stating "NO PARKING - FIRE LANE - TOW AWAY ZONE." Location shall <br /> be approved by the Fire Marshal. <br /> 4. Security Fence - Any security fence erected around the construction site shall be located so as <br /> to not obstruct any existing hydrant, fire protection equipment, or Fire Department access. If <br /> Fire Department access is obstructed, gates or other openings shall be provided for access. <br /> 5. Premise Identification - Premises shall be clearly identified by the correct address at the street <br /> entry. Buildings shall be clearly identified so as to be visible and legible from the access road. <br /> Individual apartments and suites, where applicable, shall be clearly and legibly identified from <br /> the access road. <br /> 6. 1lydrants - Two (2) available hydrants arc required. They shall be located within 200 driving <br /> feet but no closer than 50 feet of every structure. Location of hydrants shall be approved by <br /> the Fire Marshal. <br /> 7. Fire Hydrants - Locations as shown on the site plan are acceptable. <br /> 8. PREMISE IDENTIFICATION AND ALL REQUIRED FIRE DEPARTMENT ACCESS <br /> ROADS AND FIRE HYDRANTS SHALL BE IN SERVICE PRIOR TO <br /> COMMENCEMENT OF CONSTRUCTION. <br /> 9.
