The exploration procedures and detailed exploration logs are presented in Appendix A. 2.0 PROJECT DESCRIPTION The project site is located south of the intersection of 75th Street S.W. and Hardeson Road in Everett, Washington. The site has been designated "Parcel Number 1" in our discussions during this study, and is located as shown on Figure 1, the Site and Exploration Plan. The topography slopes up moderately toward the south from a low elevation of approximately 485 feet to a high of 590 feet. The 16 acre parcel is nearly rectangular in shape and approximately 550 feet in a east west direction by 1400 feet in a north south direction. We understand the proposed development will include office structures and associated parking. At the time of this Study building locations were not established. The conclusions and recommendations in this report should be considered preliminary for project planning. When building locations and structural loadings are established during final design, we recommend that the recommendations in this report be re-evaluated for the specific site development. The purpose of this study was to establish general subsurface conditions at the site from which conclusions and recommendations for foundation design and construction for the project could be formulated. The scope of Jvork consisted of a field exploration program, geotechnical engineering analysis, and report preparation. During final design of the nature, design, and location of the facilities, the conclusions and recommendations contained in this report should be reviewed and modified, if necessary, to reflect the final proposed development plans. This report has been prepared for the exclusive use of the Cornerstone Columbia Development Co. and their agents for specific application to this project in accordance with generally accepted geotechnical engineering practices. 3.0 SITE CONDITIONS The site conditions were evaluated for this study in June 1990.
