Detailed drawings in accordance with City Design and Construction <br /> Standards shall be submitted to the Public Works Department <br /> y showing site parking layout, landscaping, utilities, storm drain- <br /> age, temporary construction erosion control , and all required <br /> Ctn improvements in the public right-of-way. Public Works <br /> H <br /> �0 U14 Department approval of these drawings is required prior to any <br /> rr permits being issued. All improvements shall be completed, <br /> 014 approved , and warranted before the Occupancy Permit is issued. <br /> H O Vs <br /> 2 . City streets and alleys are to be kept clear of dirt and debris <br /> at all times during construction. Dust suppression and street <br /> cleaning must occur as directed by the Public Works Inspector. <br /> 3 . A two-year guarantee is required for private retention/detention <br /> or other drainage treatment/abatement facilities serving areas <br /> larger than one acre. <br /> 4 . The Police Department has the following security recommendations <br /> for your proposal : <br /> a . Monitored fire and intrusion alarm systems should be provided <br /> which are zoned for each entity. If 24 hour supervision does <br /> r�1' not occur, perimeter alarms sensors should also be provided. <br /> �! The area is noted for juvenile vandalism and theft . <br /> b. Perimeter doors should be solid core or metal doors . Double <br /> 1_ cylinder deadbolts should be installed. If doors open to the <br /> outside or the hinges are exposed , pin hinges should be used. <br /> i <br /> C. IF any store front glass doors are provided , they should have <br /> �► locking case bolts top and bottom and maximum security <br /> deadbolts with 1-3/4" throw and 3/4" laminated steel. <br /> d. Any bay doors should be metal security doors. They should be <br /> secured with 3/8" case hardened steel hasps or chain and <br /> padlocks with 1/2^ case hardened steel shackles . <br /> e. The more business windows visible to the customer parking <br /> area, the safer the area is from assaults and thefts. On <br /> other sides of buildings, more security is provided by no <br /> windows or few windows, e=pecially ones that open. <br /> i <br /> f . Lighting of the parking lot should be a minimum of 1 to 2 <br /> ►� foot candles. <br /> g. Fencing should be a 6 inch cyclone fence with three strand <br /> barbed wire. <br /> 5 <br />
