I
Water Quality:
During the construction phase of the project, temporary siltation control structures will
be installed. At a minimum:
• A silt fence will be installed along the wetland buffer and around the stabilized
construction staging area.
• Existing catch basins will be protected ner city standard detail 213.
• A temporary construction entrance w be installed per the TESC plan and
city standard detail 205A.
• A construction staging area will be utilized for equipment/material storage and
equipment maintenance during construction.
' The siltation control devices will remain in place until all construction work is completed
per the specifications and details on the construction plans and all areas are stabilized.
All pipes and catch basins will be cleaned and flushed prior to being put into service.
Once crnstructed, proper, regular maintenance of the orifices and detention system will
allow the system to function optimally.
Conclusions:
The proposed development will create increased stormwater runoff. It is proposed to
detain the increase of stormwater runoff in an underground detention vault and 24"
' pipes. The area above the dead storage in the wet pond will also be utilized for
detention storage during storm evesnts. The live storage and orifice structure will
attenuate the peak flow rates.
There are no anticipated adverse impacts on the downstream conveyance syste- 4lie
to this development.
IM.%DG\2001177•SDG.011docs\Drainage Analysis77.doc 7
