(i) Fire lanes to be provided in compliance with Everett Municipal <br />Code 46.44. <br />(ii) Fire hydrants and access roads must be in service prior to <br />construction. <br />(111) Construction activities to be in compliance with Uniform Fire <br />Code, 1985 Edition, Article 87, "Fire Safety During Construction". <br />(iv) The premises must be identified at street entry, and each <br />building is to be clearly identified so as to be visible and <br />legible from the access roads. <br />2. City streets and alleys are to be kept clear of dirt and debris at all <br />times during construction. Dust suppression and street cleaning must <br />occur as directed by the Public Works inspector. <br />3. Performance guarantees are required for the curb, gutter and sidewalk. <br />4. Permits must be obtained for all fill removed from the site and placed <br />within the City limits. It takes about 35 days (a SEPA review) to <br />obtain permits for any specific site. There is currently a lack of <br />adequate permitted fill sites within the City limits. <br />5. A one -,year guarantee is required on the public street, utility and site <br />landscaping for an amount not less than 10% of the cost of construction <br />and shall run for one year from the date of issuance of the first <br />Occupancy Permit for the project. <br />6. A two-year guarantee is required for private retention/detention or <br />other drainage treatment/abatement facilities serving areas larger than <br />one acre. <br />7. As-builts of storm sewer, sanitary sewer, and water systems will be <br />required to be submitted per City design and construction standards and <br />specifications. <br />9. The Police Department has the following security recommendations: <br />a. The perimeter doors should be solid core with 190 degree to 220 <br />degree wide angle viewers and single cylinder deadbolts with 1" <br />throw and at least 3" screws securing striker plate. <br />b. Day windows should overlook the parking lot for increased <br />set irity of vehicles. <br />
