There are two functions of this proposed project. The first is to expand the loading dock
of the existing processing and distribution facility. The second s to construct a parking lot and
drainage facilities across the street on lots 7 and 8 of the Plat of Hardeson Industrial Park. The
sites are located at the Southeast and Northeast corners of Hardeson Road and 801s Street in the
Merrill and Ring Creek drainage basin.
The loading dock area will require some re -grading of the adjacent truck maneuvering
area but because there will be no increase in the total impervious area, no change to the existing
drainage system is being proposed.
The total proposed improvements to the parking lot area will cover approximately 2
acres. The parking area will be covered with asphalt and planters. Onsite drainage will be
collected and directed into a proposed wetpond which will be located at the Southeast comer of
the project. A control stricture with multiple orifices will be installed to moderate flow with
outflow directed to the 80a' Street drainage system. The Everett Stormwater Management
Manual was used as a guideline for designing the storm water management system. For more
detail on the system see the Analysis and Design of Required Runoff Control section of this
report.
