UU" Marysville, Washington Gentlemen: At your request, we provided foundation excavation observation and compaction testing services at the -subject g site tecbetween hnicalstuly 19 and July 26, 1983. We earlier performed for the project and presented the results in our report dated May 3, 1983. Our present services included performing compaction tests in fill materials placed as backfill for the antenna founda- tion and in the building slab areas. In addition, we examined the aantenna dequate bearingd ion capacity exion to st at the ermine that bearing materials with bearing level. A total of six compaction tests were performed at the locations noted in Table A, Summary of In -Place Density Test Results. Tests were performed in accordance with ASTM 'rest Designation D-2922 (Nuclear Gauge Method). The resalts of our compaction tests are listed on Tab).e A. Representative soil samples were returned to our laboratory for Laboratory Maximum Dry Density Tests in accordance with ASTM Test Designation D-1557-70 (Modified Proctor).
