A <br />partial list of discrepancies is enumerated below for your <br />assistance. <br />More than 2 risers are required on stairs from garage to <br />house (8" maximum). <br />All walls, ceiling, column and beam in garage -must have <br />5/8" type "X" gypsum wallboard. <br />All foundation walls and basement walls must be reinforced. <br />See City handbook. <br />Exterior deck must be shown and detailed. Refer also to <br />Section 1711 in City Handbook. <br />Door from Garage to house must have self -closer. <br />Composite wood and steel beams must be 3etailed showing <br />bolt pattern and 1 copy of structural calculations submitted. <br />Roof structure is not sized to allow R-30 insulation (96" <br />thick + 1" ventilation space). <br />If basement is to be heated it must be insulated to R-19 <br />(2" rigid insulation = R14.4). <br />Vaulted ceilings must have continuous vapor barrier. <br />Blocking is required over supports for joists and rafters. <br />Basement is crossed out on Section A -A, but not on Section <br />B-B.
