11. The City Hydrant Ordinance requires that a fire hydrant <br />which will provide the necessary fire flow be located within <br />200 driving feet of multiple family residential occupancies. <br />This would require the addition of one hydrant at an <br />approved location within the project site. The hydrant <br />location shown on the preliminary site plan dated April 26, <br />1991, is adequate. Minimum fire flow requirement is 2,000 <br />GPM. The City Fire Marshal must have confirmation that the <br />additional hydrant will deliver the required fire flow. <br />(SEPA Public Services and Utilities Policy) <br />12. The access road and fire turnarounds must be constructed as <br />shown on the preliminary site plan dated April 26, 1991. <br />(SEPA Public Services and Utilities Policy) <br />13. A permanent sign indicating the correct addresses of each of <br />the units served by the easement access must be provided at <br />the street entry into the plat. Futher, signs must be <br />provided at the interior accesses indicating the addresses <br />of the units served by each access. (SEPA Public Services <br />and Utilities Policy) <br />14. Each building must be clearly identified so as to be visible <br />and legible from the access road. (SEPA Public Services and <br />Utilities Policy) <br />15. Fire lanes must be provided as required in Everett Municipal <br />Code 46.44. Fire lanes must be identified by red curbs with <br />white stencil stating "No Parking - Fire Lane - Tow Away <br />Zone." These sign locations must be approved by the Fire <br />Marshal. All occupancies over 3,000 square feet in size must be <br />provided with a manual or automatic fire detection system. <br />(See City of Everett Ordinance #1759-90, effective <br />January 15, 1991.) The City of Everett prohibits outdoor burning. Therefore, no <br />fires for the purpose of disposing of construction debris <br />will be allowed.
