During our phone conversation, Mr. Beaker indicated that a project fur that property had been submitted to the Planning and Community Development Department for review. In checking the files in our department, I have not found the project for this property. The building has been the target of several arson fires and pursuant to the Uniform Code for Abatement of Dangerous Buildings is consiOered dangerous to the health, safety and welfare of the public. Also, the building is in violation of the Uniform Housing Code as adopted by the City of Everett. Although you may have a project in review for development of the property, the existing conditions warrant your immediate attention. If you wish to demolish the building, permits shall be obtained no later than December 2, 1991. If the building is to be rehabilitated, application for permits shall be -ft1. submitted no later than December 20, 1991. Failure to comply with the requirements of this letter shall result in the L1� issuance of a "Notice and Order." If you have any questions regarding this matter, please call me at 259-8731.
