The reason for the Inspe 'inn was to determine if there were serious <br />problems with the construction of the structure, as was determined through <br />documentation you received from the County Auditor and correspondence you received <br />from the previous owners' attorney, which indicated that the structure was built <br />without the required building and electrical permlts, end further, that the work <br />was never inspectod to determine whether or not it met these code requirements for <br />such structures. <br />That constructlon which in behind wallboard cannot be second guessed. Therefore, <br />no comment will be. made about framing, stability, or ende compliance regarding such <br />construc.tlmr. <br />Vie skylights In the room leak, possibly due to Improper Installation. Use of <br />plastic mnterials shell be In accordance with Section 5207 (for skylights) of the <br />Uniform Building Code. <br />Hoof construction shell be in accordance with nil applicable sections of the <br />Uniform building Code. <br />lhe chimney for the wood burning stove in the living room is extended several feet <br />into the family room at a height of three feet from the floor, and does not meet <br />any of the requirements of the Uniform Building Code and may be considered as <br />haxordous. <br />The hot tub was Installed without permits and the required plumbing and electrical <br />Inspections. <br />Correction of all code violations should be conducted at your ^arliest convenience <br />to Insure the health, anfety, and welfare of you and your family, <br />siEran, <br />ely, <br />�erff1, n r EXHIBIT A <br />Mousing Inspector <br />For Paul A.
