These comments address building issues only, additional revisions or additions <br />may be required by other departments (such as Utilities, Planning or Fire). All <br />references refer to the 1997 Uniform Building Code, as amended by the State of <br />Washington and/or Washington State Energy Code 1997 Edition, unless stated <br />otherwise. <br />In order for the processing of your application to continue, ;f will be necessary to <br />provide the Building Division with two complete new sets of dra:vings reflecting the <br />corrections requested. <br />Plans as submitted are not complete. Provide plan view of foundation plan, <br />elevation views and roof framing, including girder trusses. <br />2. The header supporting the girder truss (hip master) appeors to be inadequate. <br />Provide new header size, species and grade. <br />3. Specify header size, species and grade in all bearing walls. <br />4. Provide posts or multiple studs under hip -master trusses. <br />5. Provide solid blocking between trusses to resist overturning. <br />6. Provide double top plate. Lap splices 48". <br />7. All braced wall panels (bwp) shall be clearly marked on the plans.
