The DWB has an advantage over Fingle wall bleck <br />stove pipe because ot roduced cleerence to combustible materlals, of six (6) Inclies. The DWB incorpo�ates a slainlcss <br />steel flue for longer se�ilce Ille, greater safety end hotler Hue temperetures to improve drafl. All )olnls are secured with <br />sheet metal screws. <br />SAFETY: <br />Doubte Wall Black Plpe (DWB) nas been tested by Warnock Hersey to �derwriters Leboratories Standard 103. This test <br />Standard Is conducted at 1000'F contfnuous end 1700°F intermitlent �'fhe DWB is listed for six (6) inches clearance to <br />cnr �siible materiel. NE��ER en�lose ihls connector pipe or use It as a chimney to install through ceilings or walls or in <br />inaccessible or enclosed ereas. Connect Metal-Fab �ouble Wall pipe ONLV to corrxtly installed UL listeu lactory-huilt <br />chimney. Also, be surc to instell the aopllanr,Q et the correct clearances, as directod by the appllance manutacturer. <br />Double Wall Black pipe must be Installod to meet all local codes, Nnying particular attention to the minimum clearanr,e <br />alloe:od to combusilble , of six (6) inches. II tho corresponding stova cleerance Is I�,ss than six (6) inches, the stove may <br />have to bo moverl ou; from a combustibla wall so that the pipe will comply with tho six (6) inch clearnnce requirement. <br />INSTALLATION: <br />1. Detormina the stovo outlel lucatlon relative to Chimney System Ceiling Support. Best resulls are obtained with a <br />straiyht-up conner.tor path. <br />2. It your instaliatfon is atralght up and the telescoping lengths (DWBTL) can be used, insert the telescoping fluo within <br />the stove collar and the outer cesing over tho stove collar. Secwe al! jomLs with eheet metal screws. <br />3. Extend the upper portlon ol the OWBTL to angage the urlmped poAion of the chlmney ceiling eupport. Secure with <br />sheet metel screws (See FIG 1). <br />a. If Double Wall Black plpe sections (DWB) are to be used, the Double Wall Black Adapter (DWBA) Is raquired io be <br />atlached el tha stovo collar. It may be nocessay to ettach the ad�ustable length (DWB18A) sectiur, to the chimney <br />ceiling support prior to inslc�lling Ihe ssr.Nons. Secure tFia DWB18A to tho ceiiing support wilh she�at melal screws <br />Slide ene aectlen of DWB Into the DWd1 BA ro ell�w the second section o1 DWB lo be posllloned over the DWBA. Thr. <br />lirst saclion can ihen be alid down to engage the second secNon. Secure all �oints wlth sheet melal screws <br />(See FIG 2). <br />5. If your Inslallatlon daea not allow 1or stralght up pipe sectlons, It may be necessaty to use elbows (DW845). The <br />OW845 Is secured to the verticel section wlth sheet metal sc�ews. Tha DWB sectlon can now be Installed bPtween <br />elbows. l'he secnnd DWB45 can be attached to a verticel soctlon thet extends lo the ceiling support end to thn DWB <br />section betwean ialbows (See FIG 3). It Is recommended Ihet only one DWB sectlon, end if necessery one ad�ustable <br />(DW016A�, be instelled between elbows. The DW845 can also be installed back lo bacA. <br />s. If your stovo has a rear outlet end you noed to go upward, the Double VJall Dlack Tea (DWBT) can be used A JWBA <br />must be installed at the stove collar belore etlaching the DWBT. The DWBT then is installed onto the DWBA. II the <br />listed chimney system Is In e chase, and the DWB connector pfpe must go horizontally, e Doukle Wall Bleck 90 <br />degree elbow (DW890) can be used. (See FIG 4). Secure all Joints with sheet metal ecrew9. <br />7. Upon installfng the stoveolpe, ft is understood that blemishes or scratches can result that wlll require a touch up <br />epplication ol bleck palnt. We rer,ommend Stove Briyht� M19g0 Satin Bleck which comes in a 12 oz. spray can. <br />When properly apphed, thia product Is very elfective In bl�nding to the base coat ol pa'nl in bolh texture anU coin�. <br />Please note, II the spray can nozzle is loca�ed roo close lo the target surlaco, undeslrablo results may occur suc!� as; <br />running, loo thicF of a coat which will not blend, bubbling, or droplets of peln�. <br />2�3 <br />
