PROJECT TITLE:
Software License
Consent
Agreement Amendment Action
#1 with Trapeze Software First Reading
Group, Inc. Second Reading
Third Reading
Public Hearing
Location
Amount Budgeted
Expenditure Required
Budget Remaining
Additional Required
COUNCIL BILL #
Originating Department
Contact Person
Phone Number
FOR AGENDA OF
Initialed by:
Department Head
CAA
Council President
J
Transportation Services
Tom Hingson
(425) 257-8939
May -2(4 2010
Preceding Action Attachments Department(s) Approval
Amendment #1 Legal
$42,369.60
$42,369.60
$0
$0
Account Number(s): 425 5 090 020 010 410
DETAILED SUMMARY STATEMENT:
Currently when a customer selects the link on the City of Everett Transit web page to plan a trip, they are
routed to a partner agency's online trip planner. This has often caused confusion for our customers who want
to plan a trip on Everett Transit. Amendment 41 to the original Trapeze Software License Agreement adds
the Automated Travel Information System (ATIS) Simple Object Access Protocol Interface to the current
ATIS Trip Planning software. This will allow Everett Transit to provide trip planning capabilities to our
customers on our own website and eliminate the confusion caused by the current system.
RECOMMENDATION (Exact action requested of Council):
Authorize the Mayor to sign Amendment #1 to the October 21, 2003 Software License Agreement between
the City of Everett and Trapeze Software Group, Inc. in the amount of $42,369.60.
