CEMEX requested a change in their industrial land use designation to <br />mixed use residential. After completing the environmental review process and public meetings/hearings, the <br />Planning Commission voted to recommend that the city preserve industrial land in south Everett and agreed <br />on the need to look at standards in the industrial zones to attract more intensive and.higher quality industrial <br />development.
