CEMEX requested a change in their industrial land use designation to mixed use residential. After completing the environmental review process and public meetings/hearings, the Planning Commission voted to recommend that the city preserve industrial land in south Everett and agreed on the need to look at standards in the industrial zones to attract more intensive and.higher quality industrial development.
