Increasing stress at the point of arrest, lack of prescribed medication(s) and <br />delay in getting medication(s), and isolation from support exacerbate a <br />mental health crisis. <br />This is not an attack on our first responders or our legal system. This is an <br />appeal. Law enforcement needs to stop treating our loved ones like <br />something stuck to the bottom of their shoes. How can we - who have <br />mental health issues within our families — help to get the help that victims of <br />mental disorders need - especially while in police custody? <br />Thank you. <br />
