The Chamber has been leasing <br />space there since November 2003. Their lease provides for an original term of 4 years with two 3 -year <br />option terms ("Option Term One" and "Option Term Two"). The Chamber exercised Option Term One in <br />2007, extending the lease through November 2010. The Chamber now wishes to exercise Option Term Two <br />of their lease, extending the term through November 2013. Additionally, due to possible changes to the <br />structure of their organization that may affect their need for the premises, they are seeking to amend the lease <br />to include a clause that would allow them to terminate the lease upon 120 -days written notice to the City. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Authorize the Mayor to sign Lease Amendment No. 1 with the Everett Chamber of Commerce for space at <br />the Everett Conference Center Building. <br />-- ------ - - <br />---------------- -------------- ------ -- - <br />31 <br />
