The Workforce <br />Development Program provides individuals with employment educational classes and job training in addition <br />to providing resources and facilities for job searching. The WDC works simultaneously with the <br />Washington State Employment Security Department also located at Everett Station. <br />The proposed lease is for a 3 -year term commencing on May 10, 2010, with a termination date of May 9, <br />2013. The proposed rate for the first 2 years of the lease term is $6,839.75 per month. The rate will increase <br />by 3 percent for the third and --final year of the lease term. <br />RECOMMENDATION (Exact action requested of Council): <br />Authorize the Mayor to sign Lease Agreement with the Workforce Development Council Snohomish County <br />for space at Everett Station. 35 <br />
