05!!!!=i <br /> EL/ERETT <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 3716 <br /> A RESOLUTION to purchase Park Playground Structures sole source. <br /> WHEREAS, the Park and Recreation Department has undertaken an extended program <br /> to upgrade Park playgrounds and <br /> WHEREAS, playground structures must be durable, maintainable, vandal <br /> resistant, and meet safety criteria established by the Consumer Products <br /> Safety Council and <br /> WHEREAS, Teton Series playground structures manufactured by Natural <br /> Structures, Sherwood, Oregon have been found to meet such criteria after <br /> extensive review and evaluation by a source selection committee and the Board <br /> of Park Commissioners and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council in 1988 has previously approved such sole source <br /> purchase of playground structures and <br /> WHEREAS, the City currently has in excess 10 such playground structures <br /> currently installed. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF EVERETT, that the <br /> Purchasing Division is authorized to purchase future playground structures as <br /> sole source from Natural Structures, Sherwood, Oregon. <br /> Council4erson Introducing Resolution <br /> PASSED and APPROVED this 23 day of Dec. , 1992. <br /> President of the Council <br />
