FOR <br /> APPROVAL OF A SPECIAL PROPERTY USE SPU #17-91 <br /> PERMIT AND VARIANCE Variance #3-92 <br /> DECISION: The Special Property Use Permit and variance are granted <br /> subject to conditions. <br /> INTRODUCTION <br /> U.S. West NewVector Group, Inc. , P.O. Box 91211, Bellevue, Washington 98009 <br /> (hereinafter referred to as Applicant) requested approval of a Special <br /> Property Use Permit for the construction of a 126 foot, self-supporting <br /> monopole steel tower for up to 12 cellular panel antennas; construction of a <br /> 360 square foot maintenance/storage building; and the placement of a four foot <br /> diameter microwave dish at the 90 foot level on the monopole. <br /> In addition, the Applicant requested approval of a variance to allow the <br /> height of the monopole to exceed the maximum building height for R-1 zoned <br /> property. It is the intent of the Applicant to develop the monopole 126 feet <br /> high. The maximum allowable height for structures in the R-1 zone is 28 feet. <br /> A hearing on the request was held before the Hearing Examiner of the City of <br /> Everett on July 23, 1992.
