r ' <br /> 1!!!!!!! :i <br /> ‘,441E!/E12ETT <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 3661 <br /> A RESOLUTION -adopting a Gateway Service Club Signage <br /> policy for the City of Everett. <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council finds that service clubs provide an <br /> important function to the Everett community; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council finds that it is important that service <br /> clubs be provided with the opportunity to have some form of <br /> gateway signage to the City of Everett; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council finds that this policy establishes <br /> reasonable guidelines for gateway signage for service clubs; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> EVERETT that this resolution does hereby encompass the City of <br /> Everett service club signage policy. <br /> Section 1: SERVICE CLUB PARTICIPANTS <br /> Service clubs for purposes of this resolution shall be defined as <br /> organized groups within the City of Everett dedicated to <br /> philanthropy and locally chartered for at least five years. <br /> Section 2 : SIGNAGE COORDINATOR <br /> A. The City of Everett Parks and Recreation Department will <br /> coordinate all items dealing with gateway service club signage. <br /> B. The City of Everett Parks and Recreation Department will act <br /> as liaison to all service clubs and agencies for purposes of this <br /> policy. <br /> C. The City of Everett Parks and Recreation Department will <br /> attend meetings, make recommendations, order, supervise <br /> installation, landscaping, design and construction and/or any <br /> other duties deemed necessary by the City of Everett. <br /> D. The City of Everett Parks and Recreation Department is <br /> authorized to promulgate rules for the implementation and <br /> administration of this policy. <br />
