WHEREAS, the Planning Commission held a public workshop on March 16, 2010 to discuss and <br />consider potential amendments to the Zoning Code related to re -use of existing building <br />spaces; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission held a public hearing on May 4, 2010 to consider public <br />testimony and make a recommendation concerning zoning regulations for re -use of existing <br />building spaces; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission finds: <br />1. The proposed amendment is consistent with the applicable provisions of the Everett <br />Growth Management Comprehensive Plan; and <br />2. The proposed amendment bears a substantial relation to the public health, safety and <br />welfare; and <br />3.
