The <br /> Department of Energy has approved the City's application for a grant that was part of the President's <br /> stimulus program. The approval followed the City's budget process and therefore necessitates the need to <br /> amend the budget. These funds will be used to implement grant approved energy projects. <br /> RECOMMENDATION (Exact action requested of Council): <br /> Move forward to 2nd Budget Amendment for adoption in September 2010. <br /> 51 <br />
