Amendment One integrates project artist work and exterior lighting design into the construction <br /> documentation. Amendment Two is a no-cost contract time extension through December 31,2011. <br /> Amendment Three to the Professional Services Agreement with Nakano Associates includes adjustments for <br /> additional design and construction documentation work required as a result of the restart of the plaza project <br /> after a one year suspension in design preparation, design development modifications which relocated the <br /> plaza's fountain and other project features, and electrical undergrounding design work necessary to <br /> complement PUD electrical design and utility placement. Sufficient funds exist within the total project, <br /> including construction,to fund Amendment Three. <br /> RECOMMENDATION (Exact action requested of Council): <br /> Authorize the Mayor to sign Amendment Three to the Professional Services Agreement with Nakano <br /> Associates for Design of the Downtown Plaza at the Everett Performing Arts Center in the amount of <br /> $60,098. <br /> 39 <br />
