This new <br /> contract is in additional to the current contract which will allow the Court to utilize the continuous alcohol <br /> monitoring equipment(TAD). The TAD equipment will allow the Judge to release defendants from custody <br /> and monitor on home detention with more sophisticated equipment. No additional funding is necessary as <br /> the additional costs for the TAD equipment will be borne by the defendant who is ordered to use the <br /> equipment. <br /> RECOMMENDATION: <br /> Authorize the mayor to sign Addendum No. 4 to Monitoring Service Agreement between City of Everett and <br /> BI Incorporated. <br /> 51 <br />
