The City has sub-granted the funds to the Everett Housing Authority, <br /> which is working with two non-profit agencies, as follows: Washington Home of Your Own is acquiring 4 <br /> eligible properties to lease and later sell to income-eligible buyers, and Parkview Services is providing <br /> homeownership assistance to income-eligible buyers to recover 3 eligible properties. <br /> Amendment A updates the Statement of Work and Budget in the original contract with the Department of <br /> Commerce to classify the home ownership assistance actions described above as"Acquisitions" and <br /> increases the allocation for Acquisitions to $525,000. The remaining$21,899 will be paid to the Everett <br /> Housing Authority for administration of the program. <br /> RECOMMENDATION: <br /> Authorize the Mayor to sign Amendment A to Grant Agreement with the Washington State Department of <br /> Commerce for Neighborhood Stabilization Program activities. <br /> 1 5 <br />
