The replacement will occur over multiple phases. The work under this phase (phase <br /> 7) will consist of replacing approximately 4,200 feet of 48-inch diameter steel pipe located in the Snohomish <br /> River estuary between Home Acres Road and Ebey Slough. <br /> The initial phase 7 project was originally designed by MWH in 2005, but was not constructed at that time. <br /> The current Phase 7 design work will review and update the previous civil design and will update the <br /> structural design to meet the newly adopted International Building Code requirements. The City went <br /> through a Consultant selection process in 2003 and selected MWH to provide the design and construction <br /> support services for the project. Total expenditure requested to provide the design and construction support <br /> services is $314,202. Budget remaining is $7,685,798. <br /> RECOMMENDATION (Exact action requested of Council): <br /> Authorize the Mayor to sign the Professional Services Agreement with MWH, Americas for the Design <br /> Services of the Water Transmission Line 3 —Phase 7 Replacement project in the amount of$314,202. <br /> 19 <br />
