RESOLUTION NO. tf5 / <br /> EVERETT <br /> A RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO DECLARE SURPLUS CERTAIN REAL ESTATE <br /> LOCATED OUTSIDE THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY OF <br /> EVERETT IN THE VICINITY OF LAKE CHAPLAIN PURSUANT TO <br /> SECTION 15.8 OF THE CITY CHARTER. <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Everett finds that the following described property, to <br /> wit: <br /> Parcel 1: that portion of the E 1/2 of the NE 1/4 of section 7, Township <br /> 28, N.R.8 E.W.M. , centerline of the City's #5 pipeline as <br /> described in Auditor's File Nos. 8306130266 and 820629021 <br /> Parcel 2: that portion of N 1/2 of the SW 1/4 of the NE 1/4 of section 8, <br /> Township 28, N.R.8 E.W.M. , lying north of a line 50' north of <br /> the centerline of the existing road (D-1000) . <br /> Parcel 3: the SW 1/4 and that portion of the W 1/2 of the SE 1/4 of <br /> section 32, Township 29, N.R.8 E.W.M. , lying 50 feet west of the <br /> centerline of existing road (D-1000) , EXCEPTING a subterranean <br /> cylindrical portion of land having a radius of 100 feet, <br /> physically centered on a portion of the existing centerline of <br /> the 7109 foot City of Everett Water Supply Pipeline Tunnel No. <br /> 1, lying within the W 3/4 S 1/2 of said section 32, more <br /> particularly described as follows: <br /> Commencing at the northeast corner of said section 32; thence S 8° 13' <br /> 44"E 1723.6 feet; thence S 30° 15' W 764.9 feet to a curve to the right, <br /> said curve has a central angle of 5° 45' ; thence southwesterly along <br /> said curve to the right, 57.6 feet; thence S 36° 00' W 66 feet to a <br /> curve to the right, has a central angle of 21° 53' ; thence continuing <br /> southwesterly along said curve 218.8 feet; thence S 57° 53' W 216.7 feet <br /> to a curve to the left, said curve has a central angle of 12° 45' ; <br /> thence 127.6 feet along said curve to the left; thence S 45° 8' W 308.9 <br /> feet to a curve to the left, said curve has a central angle of 8° 54' ; <br /> thence continuing along said curve to the left, 89 feet; thence S 36° <br /> 14' W 305 feet; thence S 81° 54' 18" W 700 feet, more or less, to a <br /> point 50 feet westerly of the centerline as measured at right angle to <br /> the existing road and the POINT OF BEGINNING; thence continuing S 81° <br /> 54' 18" W to the west line of said S 1/2 of section 32 and the terminus <br /> of this described centerline, containing 223 acres, more or less, <br /> according to map referenced below, and Department of Natural Resources <br /> Orthophoto Map dated May 1982, and compiled from aerial photos flown in <br /> 1984 on file with the office of the Commissioner of Public Lands, <br /> Olympia, WA. <br /> 1 <br />
