ti <br /> 111101 <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 3552 <br /> A RESOLUTION ACKNOWLEDGING WORK OF THE EVERETT 2000 <br /> COMMITTEE; ACCEPTING THEIR VISION AS POLICY DIRECTION <br /> FOR THE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN; AND, REFERRING THE DOCUMENT TO THE <br /> PLANNING COMMISSION FOR INCLUSION IN THE PLANNING PROCESS <br /> WHEREAS, in early 1991 , in accordance with Ordinance 1762-91, the <br /> Mayor appointed and the City Council confirmed sixteen people to serve <br /> on a task force to be called the Everett 2000 Committee; and <br /> WHEREAS, these people: Jan Mahlum, C.J. Ebert, Frank Figg, <br /> Stacey Hager, Don Hopkins, John Martinis, Dave McKay, Cynthia Moreno, <br /> Betty Morrow, Bruce Overstreet, Don Rider, Paul Roberts, <br /> Tom Romerdahl , Arnie Scown, Geoff Tapert, and Dave Koenig, Alternate, <br /> worked diligently for seven months to prepare their Vision for the <br /> future of Everett, and <br /> WHEREAS, during the course of their work, the Committee <br /> frequently requested input from the public on community concerns and <br /> interests and incorporated this input into their deliberations and <br /> final document, thereby reflecting public sentiment in their Vision <br /> for Everett; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> EVERETT DOES HEREBY; <br /> Acknowledge, with appreciation, the work of the Everett 2000 <br /> Committee, and <br /> Accept the Everett 2000 Vision as a policy element for the <br /> Comprehensive Plan, and <br /> Refer this document to the Plannin Commission for inclusion into the <br /> Comprehensive Planning process. <br /> 1,2 <br /> Councilperson Introducing Resolution <br /> PASSED and APPROVED this 6th day of November, 1991 . <br /> at4-0044 7)4 <br /> Council Preside t <br />
