�M. <br /> EVERETT <br /> Resolution NO. 3526 <br /> A RESOLUTION authorizing application for funding assistance to the <br /> Interagency Committee for Outdoor Recreation as provided by the <br /> Washington Wildlife and Recreation Program (WWRP) For funding of <br /> Property acquisition on Silver Lake. <br /> WHEREAS, under the provisions of the Washington Wildlife and Recreation <br /> Program assistance has been authorized and made available to aid in financing <br /> the cost of land acquisition for parks and construction of outdoor <br /> recreational facilities for local public agencies; <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Everett considers it in the best <br /> public interest to acquire a waterfront park within the Silver Lake area, <br /> comprising approximately 1.3 acres of land; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL FOR THE CITY OF EVERETT, <br /> WASHINGTON, <br /> 1. That the Mayor be authorized to sign a formal application to the <br /> Interagency Committee for Outdoor Recreation for funding assistance in the <br /> amount of $275,000. <br /> 2. That any fund assistance so received be used in the acquisition of the 1.3 <br /> acres of upland on the east side of Silver Lake known as the Courier Property. <br /> 3. That $275,000 be authorized and appropriated as a source of revenue in the <br /> 1992 City of Everett budget from "CIP" revenues as the local share of the <br /> Courier property acquisition. <br /> 4. That the combined amounts above of $550,000 be authorized and appropriated <br /> as a source of revenue to, and as a form of expense for Courier property <br /> acquisition and related expenses. <br /> 5. That the City of Everett does hereby certify that the City is responsible <br /> to support all non-cash commitments to the local share should they materialize. <br /> 6. That any property acquired with financial aid through the Interagency <br /> Committee for Outdoor Recreation be placed in use as an outdoor recreation <br /> facility and be retained in such use in perpetuity unless as otherwise <br /> provided and agreed upon by the City of Everett, City Council, the Interagency <br /> Committee for Outdoor Recreation and any affected federal agency. <br /> 7. Authorize the city of Everett under (RCW26.010) to enter into a relocation <br /> assistance program with the owner of the property as required by the <br /> Interagency of Outdoor Recreation. <br /> 8. That this resolution become part of a formal application to the <br /> Interagency Committee for Outdoor Recreation. <br /> 9. That adequate notification has been given for public input and that the <br /> Park Board has reviewed and adopted the Master Plan for Silver Lake Public <br /> access. <br />
