RESOLUTION NO. 3433 EVERETT <br /> A RESOLUTION establishing facility rental fees <br /> for the City of Everett Parks and Recreation Department <br /> Public Halls, Meeting Rooms and Picnic Shelters <br /> WHEREAS, there is a periodic need to review and increase facility rental fees <br /> to reflect the current market value of those facilities; and <br /> WHEREAS, revenue generated by these fees is used to offset the increasing cost <br /> of maintenance and custodial service provided the public users of these <br /> facilities; and <br /> WHEREAS, a fee survey conducted of similar municipal facilities indicated that <br /> Everett's rental fees were far below other cities in our area; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Everett Park Board reviewed and approved a proposed fee increase <br /> at their Regular Meeting of January 8, 1991: <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EVERETT: <br /> 1) That rental fees for Public Halls, Meeting Rooms and Picnic <br /> Shelters for the year of 1991 shall be as follows: <br /> PRIVATE HALL RENTALS <br /> RESIDENT (6 hrs.) $100.00 <br /> NON-RESIDENT (6 hrs.) 125.00 <br /> ADDITIONAL HOUR 12.50 <br /> DAMAGE DEPOSIT $100 WITHOUT ALCOHOL <br /> $200 WITH ALCOHOL <br /> PICNIC SHELTERS $ 12.50 <br /> 2) That revenue generated from these fees be used for the maintenance <br /> and custodial service of these facilities. <br /> 3) That the Parks and Recreation Department may annually increase these <br /> fees up to 5% each year to reflect the increased cost of maintenance <br /> service.
