47 RESOLUTION NO. 5,4/2) A RESOLUTION OF INTENT to annex certain property to the City of Everett . This property is located between 112th Street SE and 116th STreet SE and between Meridian Avenue and 3rd Avenue W and is depicted on the map in Attachment A. WHEREAS , the City Council has approved a petition for annexation of the above described property to the City of Everett ; and WHEREAS, Council , after public hearing pursuant to RCW 35. 13 . 140 and due consideration of public comment on the petition for annexation, is favorably disposed to the proposed annexation ; and WHEREAS , aligned boundaries of annexed properties is beneficial to provide for adequate public health and safety ; and WHEREAS, a notice of intention pursuant to RCW 36 . 93 . 090 will be filed with the Snohomish County Boundary Review Board ; and WHEREAS , Council may not take final action on the proposed annexation until the Snohomish County Boundary Review Board has issued a final determination on the proposed annexation . NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS : That the Snohomish County Boundary Review Board be advised that the Everett City Council is favorably disposed to the proposed annexation. That the Council recommends that the Boundary Review Board consider expansion of the boundaries of the proposed annexation area to include all the area to the northern boundary of 116th Street SE. That the Council intends to complete action on the proposed annexation after the Snohomish County Boundary Review Board has issued a final determination on the proposed annexation .
