RESOLUTION # .3h704‘ <br /> A RESOLUTION establishing Human Needs <br /> Priorities for 1991 <br /> WHEREAS, the mission of the Human Needs Advisory Committee is <br /> to determine annually the human needs in the City of Everett , to <br /> prioritize those needs , and to allocate monies to most benefit <br /> those needs ; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Human Needs Advisory Committee has determined <br /> that the following list of human needs , which have been ranked in <br /> priority order , with a focus on prevention, will be funded in 1991 <br /> to qualified programs inside the City of Everett : <br /> 1 . YOUTH <br /> a) Counseling/guidance <br /> b) Shelter/ food <br /> c) Substance abuse <br /> d) Pregnancy prevention <br /> e) Abuse/Neglect <br /> 2 . ELDERLY <br /> a) Shelter/ food <br /> b) Medical Assistance <br /> c) Counseling guidance <br /> d) abuse/neglect <br /> 3 . DEVELOPMENTALLY DISABLED <br /> a) Counseling/guidance <br /> b) Shelter/ food <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the Everett City Council endorses the Human <br /> Needs Advisory Committee ' s priority list for 1991 funding and <br /> encourages qualified agencies to submit their proposals . <br /> C:uncilmember introducing <br /> resolution <br /> PASSED and APPROVED this 76 day of December , 1990 . <br /> /i�— . <br /> -TT-6 Presiden <br />
