2 <br /> property, annexations, and changes in state-assessed property, and$300,000 <br /> resulting from a refund levy, for a total of$32,570,943. <br /> EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES <br /> The Everett City Council hereby authorizes a property tax levy for collection in <br /> 2011 at$6,192,100, which includes implementing the levy lid lift that restores <br /> the levy rate to $0.50 as approved by voters, plus an estimated $60,000 from new <br /> construction, improvements to property, annexations, and changes in state- <br /> assessed property, and$60,000 resulting from a refund levy, for a total of <br /> $6,312,100. <br /> Section 2: That the City Clerk be, and hereby is, directed to certify to the County Assessor <br /> a copy of this ordinance in order that the same be extended upon the general <br /> assessment roll of said County, in the same manner and at the same time that the <br /> levy for the State and County taxes is extended. <br /> Section 3: That said taxes shall be collected and paid to the City Treasurer at the same time <br /> and in the same manner as provided by the laws of the State of Washington <br /> relating to collection of taxes in cities of the first class. <br /> RAY STEPHANSON, Mayor <br /> ATTEST: <br /> City Clerk <br /> Passed: <br /> Valid: <br /> Effective: <br /> Published: <br /> 5 <br />
