PROPOSED ACTION AGENDA: (These items currently scheduled for action on a future <br /> Everett City Council meeting). <br /> (6) CB 1010-27 -2nd Reading — Adopt the Proposed Ordinance levying the general taxes <br /> for the City of Everett for fiscal year commencing January 1, 2011, on all taxable <br /> property, both real and personal, subject to taxation thereon, for the purpose of <br /> raising a portion of the revenue to carry on City operations for the ensuing year, as <br /> required by the Charter of the City of Everett and the laws of the State of Washington <br /> (3rd and final reading and public hearing on 11-3-10) <br /> (7) Authorize the Mayor to sign Amendment No. 1 to the Professional Services Agreement <br /> with J. Bozeat & Associates, LLC for valve and valve actuator related services at the <br /> Water Filtration Plant at no additional cost <br /> (8) Authorize the Mayor to sign a 2010 Memorandum of Understanding with the <br /> Washington Traffic Safety Commission regarding participation in high visibility <br /> enforcement traffic safety emphasis patrols <br /> CONSENT ITEMS: • <br /> (9) Adopt Resolution No. authorizing claims against the City of Everett in the amount <br /> of $2,234,017.84 for the period of October 9, 2010 through October 15, 2010 <br /> (10) Adopt Resolution No. authorizing payroll claims against the City of Everett in the <br /> amount of $3,481,692.46 for the period ending October 9, 2010 <br /> (11) Adopt Resolution No. authorizing electronic transfers against the City of Everett in <br /> the amount of $3,896,254.92 for the period of September 1, 2010 through <br /> September 30, 2010 <br /> (12) Accept the Everett Riverfront Surcharge, Phase 2 project as complete and authorize <br /> the Mayor to sign the Certificate of Completion with KLB Construction allowing the <br /> retainage bond to be released <br /> ACTION ITEMS: <br /> (13) Concur with Mayors reappointment of James Driscoll as the land use and code <br /> enforcement hearing examiner for one, four-year term, and authorize the Mayor to <br /> execute a Personal Services contract with Mr. Driscoll as the land use and code <br /> enforcement hearing examiner in the amount of $5,000 per month for four years <br /> (14) Authorize the Mayor to sign the Local Agency Standard Consultant Agreement with <br /> KPFF Consulting Engineers for design services related to the Henry M. Jackson <br /> Pedestrian Bridge <br />
