The goal is to continue reducing traffic related deaths and serious injuries by engaging in <br /> high visibility enforcement patrols in the areas of impaired driving, speeding and occupant protection. The <br /> allocation for the Everett Police Department's participation in speed enforcement patrols between July 15, <br /> 2011 and August 7, 2011 is $3,500.00. The Memorandum of Understanding sets forth the requirements for <br /> the Everett Police Department to participate in the project and receive the allotted funding. <br /> RECOMMENDATION: <br /> Authorize the Mayor to sign a 2010 Memorandum of Understanding with the Washington Traffic Safety <br /> Commission regarding participation in high visibility enforcement traffic safety emphasis patrols. <br />
