Top-priority issues are those of unique or specific concern to the City.
The City will focus much of its advocacy time and energy on these items.
The second tier of support/oppose issues includes items the City, in concert with other jurisdictions, agencies
and interests, consider to be very important. The City will join other interest groups, including the
Association of Washington Cities, in strongly supporting beneficial measures or strongly opposing those
with an adverse impact.
The City will track/monitor many issues as they emerge in the legislative process and will respond to these
issues as necessary.
RECOMMENDATION (Exact action requested of Council):
1
