• <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1951-93 <br /> AN ORDINANCE amending the Zoning Map of the E!/E/�ETT <br /> City of Everett as provided by Ordinance No. 1671-89 as <br /> amended (Title 19, Everett Municipal Code) rezoning <br /> various parcels on the block bounded by Broadway, <br /> Everett Avenue, and Lombard Avenue, and <br /> repealing Ordinance No. 802-81. <br /> WHEREAS, on April 22, 1993, the City of Everett Land Use Hearing Examiner held a public <br /> hearing regarding the requested rezone to B-2 Community Business in conjunction with the <br /> development of a fast food restaurant with parking on the hereinafter described property; and <br /> WHEREAS, in a decision dated May 7, 1993, the Land Use Hearing Examiner recommended to <br /> the City Council that the requested rezone be granted; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Everett City Council, after evaluating the recommendation of the Land Use <br /> Hearing Examiner finds that there are multiple zoning designations on the hereinafter described <br /> property which are inappropriate for this commercial use; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Everett City Council finds that the requested rezone should be granted; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> Section 1: The City Council does hereby find that the zoning change hereinafter set forth is <br /> consistent with the Everett general plan; bears a substantial relation to the public health, safety and <br /> welfare; promotes the best long term interests of the Everett community; and is necessary to <br /> correct multiple zoning designations for the property. <br /> Section 2: Ordinance No. 802-81 is hereby repealed and its concomitant agreement is therefore <br /> void. <br /> Section 3: The Zoning Map of the City of Everett, as established by Ordinance No. 1671-89 as <br /> amended (Title 19, Everett Municipal Code) is hereby amended from C-1 General Commercial, <br /> B-3 Central Business District, and B-2 Community Business with Contract, to B-2 Community <br /> Business Zone for the parcel generally described on Exhibit A which is attached hereto and <br /> incorporated by reference and more specifically defined as: <br /> Lots 6 through 15, inclusive, Block 608, Plat of Everett, according to the Plat thereof <br /> recorded in Volume 3 of Plats, page 32, Records of Snohomish County, Washington, <br /> being more particularly described as follows: <br /> Beginning at the Northwest corner of said Lot 6; Thence South 89°59'27" East along the <br /> North line of said Lot 6 a distance of 120.06 feet to the Northeast corner of said Lot 6; <br /> Thence South 00°00'03" East along the East line of said Lots 6 through 15, inclusive, a <br /> distance of 255.08 feet to the Southeast corner of said Lot 15; Thence North 89°58'58" <br /> West along the South line of said Lot 15 a distance of 120.06 feet to the Southwest corner <br /> of said Lot 15; Thence North 00°00'00" East along the West line of said Lots 6 through <br /> 15, inclusive, a distance of 255.07 feet to the Point of Beginning; <br /> OOq 04: <br /> ICITYOFEVERETT <br /> CENTEN1NIAL <br />
